FAQs

Can I bring a friend?

Unfortunately, due to covid, we recommend that you do not. We strive to keep our staff and our clients safe, so only those who are getting tattooed may enter the shop. However, we do understand that getting tattooed can be a stressful process. So if you need to bring a friend, please limit it to 1 person.

Do I need to wear a mask even if I’m Vaccinated?

Yes. Not all of our clients are vaccinated, and with new strains of Covid arising, we cannot guarantee that a client won’t get exposed to a new Covid variant if you aren’t wearing a mask. Please be considerate of us and others by wearing a mask. You will not be allowed in the studio without one.

Are you cash only?

Each artists has different ways that they take payment. Tina is strictly Cash Only. If for any reason you can’t use cash, venmo, Paypal and Cash App can be taken, but please inform us beforehand.

What if I need to reschedule?

Email your artist. We are happy to reschedule you and doing so will retain your deposit. However, should you “no-call no-show”, you will forfeit your deposit and need to place a new one to make another appointment.

I got sunburned in the spot I wanted to tattoo. Can I still get tattooed?

No. Sun damaged skin will be painful to tattoo over and cause even more trauma to your body. Please reschedule your appointment.

Please note that we do have a lateness policy. Being more than 15 mins late with no email notice may result in a cancelled appointment. We strive to be prompt and prepared for all of our clients, so please extend the same courtesy to our artists.

What do you use for aftercare?

We use “second skin” wraps, or gauze wraps depending on the clients preference. If you have latex allergies, or adhesive allergies, please let us know so that we can give you the best aftercare bandages.

Its my first time, what should I expect?

Expect some discomfort while getting tattooed. Feel free to take breaks as is necessary. Eat a good meal and have a good nights rest before your appointment. Bring water or a snack if you’re prone to low blood sugar or fainting. Your artist will advise you what will work best for your tattoo design. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions about the process should you need to.
